Few Good Men and Women!

Are you interested in getting more involved in your Credit Union? Have you ever considered serving on our Board of Directors or the Supervisory Committee?

Palmetto Health Credit Union is looking for a few conscientious members to serve on the Board of Directors (3 positions available) and Supervisory Committee (2 positions available).

The Board and Supervisory Committee meetings take place monthly at Palmetto Health Credit Union's corporate office located on the Baptist campus at 1333 Taylor St. Suite 5B.

The Board of Directors establishes and revises policy, sets dividend and loan rates, and directs and guides the general operations of the credit union.

The Supervisory Committee acts as the "watchdog" of the credit union to protect and safeguard member assets to make sure that the credit union is run properly, honestly, and accurately.

How do I get nominated?

Nominees must be 18 years or older, a member in good standing; must be credit worthy; bondable; and free from any conflict of interest with the Board or Supervisory Committee.

Nominations may be made by members by means of a petition containing the signatures of at least 50 members.  To be valid, nominations by petition must be submitted with a brief biographical data of the candidate and a signed certificate from the nominee stating that he/she is agreeable to the nomination and will serve if elected to office.

The Board-appointed Nominating Committee will provide the Board Secretary its list of candidates for each vacancy.  The deadline for submitting nominations by petition to the Credit Union's corporate office is December 16th.

Results of the nominations will be provided at the PHCU Annual Meeting which will be held
on Tuesday, February 3rd, in the PH Richland Auditorium at 3pm.
