EMV Chip Cards
PHCU began issuing the first wave of chip cards to checking account holders in May, and our final card order was placed June 13th. All debit card holders should have their new chip card by now assuming we have your correct address.
Activating your new card is easy:
1. Simply call 800-448-8268 and enter your NEW PIN, which is being sent in a separate envelope.) You will be given an option to change your PIN at the end of the activation call; OR
2. Send us a secure message through the Online Banking Message Board. Be sure to provide us with the last 4 digits of your new card and what you would like your PIN (4 digits) to be; OR
3. Drop by one of our branches and we'll activate it for you.
If you are traveling out of state with your new chip card, you will will no longer need to contact us before you travel. This is subject to change if fraud activity increases. If you are traveling out of the country, you WILL still need to notify us.
Please make sure to open ALL of your mail because our cards are delivered in plain white envelopes without our name on them. Please don't assume that it's junk mail and accidentally throw your new card away!
